We present event-by-event viscous hydrodynamic calculations of the anisotropic flow coefficients v_2 to v_5 for heavy-ion collisions at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC). We study the dependence of different flow harmonics on shear viscosity and the morphology of the initial state. v_3 and higher flow harmonics exhibit a particularly strong dependence on both the initial granularity and shear viscosity. We argue that a combined analysis of all available flow harmonics will allow to determine eta/s of the quark gluon plasma precisely. Presented results strongly hint at a value (eta/s)_QGP < 2/4pi at RHIC. Furthermore, we demonstrate the effect of shear viscosity on pseudo-rapidity spectra and the mean transverse momentum as a function of rapidity.

Rapidity-even directed flow splitting of protons and antiprotons as a probe of baryon stopping in relativistic heavy-ion collisions
The mid-rapidity curvature of Δv₁^even(p − p̄) is proposed as a robust discriminator of initial-state baryon rapidity profiles motivated by double-junction stopping.

Energy loss and theoretical uncertainties in small quark-gluon plasmas
A pQCD energy loss model with short-pathlength corrections shows the large formation time approximation fails self-consistently and, after a one-parameter fit, describes RHIC small systems while failing LHC small systems.

Rapidity dependence of mean transverse momentum fluctuation and decorrelation in baryon-dense medium
Mean transverse momentum fluctuations in baryon-rich matter are driven by energy and baryon density variations, remain robust to baryon diffusion, and show splitting between protons and antiprotons.

Effects of sub-nucleonic fluctuations on the longitudinal structure of heavy-ion collisions
Sub-nucleonic hotspots in the initial state increase longitudinal flow decorrelation and reduce baryon stopping in simulated Pb+Pb collisions, but the model still underestimates decorrelation in mid-central events.
