The Weyl double copy relates vacuum solutions in general relativity to Abelian gauge fields in Minkowski spacetime. In a previous work, we showed how the Weyl double copy can be extended to provide a treatment of external gravitational sources consistent with the classical Kerr-Schild double copy. Using this generalization, here we provide a complete double copy analysis of electrovacuum Petrov type D spacetimes. This includes the first analysis of the charged C-metric, whose single copy interpretation invokes the two-potential formalism of electrodynamics. We also present the first double copy prescription for the Ricci spinor, which for non-accelerating spacetimes, takes a form similar to the original double copy relation for the Weyl spinor.

  1. Untwisting the double copy: the zeroth copy as an optical seed

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 7.0

A single complex optical seed built from expansion and twist organizes stationary Kerr-Schild geometries, reconstructs the congruence, and encodes the zeroth-copy data that generates both the gravitational profile and...

  2. Non-topological solitons in biadjoint scalar field theory

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Biadjoint scalar theory admits a family of non-topological solitons carrying U(1) charge, time-dependent like Q-balls, stable in truncation, with finite localized energy.

  3. The Smarr Formula is Gauss's Law: A Kerr-Schild Single-Copy Perspective

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0

The Smarr formula is structurally identical to the single-copy Gauss's law for Kerr-Schild black holes, with the AdS pressure-volume term arising from gauge background subtraction.

  4. Minisuperspace Double Copy in Lifshitz Spacetimes

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

A radial operator extracted from the reduced gravitational dynamics in Lifshitz spacetimes directly reproduces the Maxwell operator for the temporal single-copy field without using equations of motion.

  5. The Penrose Transform and the Kerr-Schild double copy

    hep-th 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 6.0

The Kerr-Schild and twistorial double copies are equivalent for self-dual vacuum Kerr-Schild spacetimes.

  6. Hawking Radiation meets the Double Copy

    hep-th 2025-10 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Bogoliubov coefficients from scattering a scalar in a collapsing EM background (single copy of Vaidya) match ray-tracing results and connect to Hawking radiation through the double copy.

  7. Weyl double copy in Lifshitz spacetimes

    hep-th 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 5.0

The regularization prescription for the Weyl double copy restores consistency with the Kerr-Schild double copy across three distinct Lifshitz black hole examples.
