Quasinormal modes of self-dual black holes in loop quantum gravity
read the original abstract
We study the evolution of a test scalar field on the background geometry of a regular loop quantum black hole (LQBH) characterized by two loop quantum gravity (LQG) correction parameters, namely, the polymeric function and the minimum area gap. The calculations of quasinormal frequencies in asymptotically flat spacetime are performed with the help of higher-order WKB expansion and related Pad\'{e} approximants, the improved asymptotic iteration method (AIM), and time-domain integration. The effects of free parameters of the theory on the quasinormal modes are studied and deviations from those of the Schwarzschild BHs are investigated. We show that the LQG correction parameters have opposite effects on the quasinormal frequencies and the LQBHs are dynamically stable.

Two types of quasinormal modes of Casadio-Fabbri-Mazzacurati brane-world black holes
Quasinormal modes of massive scalars in CFM brane-world black holes split into two types, with modes disappearing at critical masses where real or imaginary frequency parts reach zero.

Gravitational perturbations of a regular T-duality inspired black hole: Quasinormal modes, excitation factors, and time-domain evolution
ADM-scaled axial gravitational QNMs of the Jusufi–Singleton regular black hole rise in real part with zero-point length, while damping and excitation-factor magnitudes change more mildly.

Gravitational perturbations of a regular T-duality inspired black hole: Quasinormal modes, excitation factors, and time-domain evolution
Gravitational quasinormal-mode frequencies of a T-duality-inspired regular black hole are computed, showing the zero-point length makes the ringdown oscillate faster and alters damping non-monotonically.

Long-lived quasinormal modes and grey-body factors of supermassive black holes with a dark matter halo
Massive scalar fields around a Schwarzschild black hole with a dark matter halo ring longer as field mass grows, while realistic halo parameters leave quasinormal frequencies and grey-body factors almost unchanged.

Quasinormal Modes of Self-Dual Loop Quantum Gravity Corrected Kerr Black Holes
In a rotating LQG-corrected black hole model, the polymeric parameter P lowers scalar quasinormal-mode frequencies, while spin raises them.
