Working consistently to second order in the Knudsen number, these equations contain several new terms which are absent in previous treatments.

  1. Extended applicability domain of viscous anisotropic hydrodynamics in (2+1)-D Bjorken flow with transverse expansion

    nucl-th 2025-09 unverdicted novelty 5.0

VAH simulations in (2+1)D Bjorken flow with transverse expansion show an extended applicability domain over standard viscous hydrodynamics when compared to relaxation-time approximation kinetic theory.
