Gauge bosons associated with unbroken gauge symmetries, under which all standard model fields are singlets, may interact with ordinary matter via higher-dimensional operators. A complete set of dimension-six operators involving a massless U(1) field, gamma-prime, and standard model fields is presented. The mu to e gamma-prime decay, primordial nucleosynthesis, star cooling and other phenomena set lower limits on the scale of chirality-flip operators in the 1 - 15 TeV range, if the operators have coefficients given by the corresponding Yukawa couplings. Simple renormalizable models induce gamma-prime interactions with leptons or quarks at two loops, and may provide a cold dark matter candidate.

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Future Tera-Z runs at FCC-ee/CEPC could indirectly probe TeV-scale t-channel dark matter portals through one-loop and two-loop electroweak precision shifts, and in leptophilic models would be the only planned experime...

  2. Stellar Superradiance and Low-Energy Absorption in Dense Nuclear Media

    hep-ph 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Collective nucleon scattering in neutron-star matter suppresses the effective absorption of ultralight bosons at the long wavelengths relevant for superradiance, weakening the link between stellar cooling bounds and s...

  3. Freeze-in Production of Non-Abelian Millicharged Vector Dark Matter

    hep-ph 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A hidden SU(2) gauge sector broken to a massless dark photon can produce vector dark matter via freeze-in with portal couplings near 10^-7.

  4. The String Theory Photoverse

    hep-th 2025-10 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Massless string-theory hidden photons acquire dimension-six dipole couplings to SM fermions with suppression scale Λ = αM_s, converting dipole measurements into constraints on the string scale.

  5. Potential of constraining the Fifth Force Using the Earth as a Spin and Mass Source from space

    hep-ph 2024-10 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Theoretical proposal for a spacecraft-Earth experiment to constrain spin- and velocity-dependent fifth forces mediated by ultralight vector bosons, claiming up to three orders of magnitude improvement over current bounds.

  6. Constraining Multiple Kinetically Mixed Dark Photons

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 3.0 of 10

Modified pQCD with transverse momenta and Sudakov suppression yields form factors for B→ρ(ω)γ that match LCSR after fitting soft components to data, then bounds B→ρ(ω)γ' branching ratios for a dark photon.
