Supersymmetric extensions of the standard model generically contain stable non-topological solitons, Q-balls, which carry baryon or lepton number. We show that large Q-balls can be copiously produced in the early universe, can survive until the present time, and can contribute to dark matter.

  1. Kaon Portal to Freeze-in Dark Matter

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Freeze-in dark matter produced by kaons in low-reheating cosmologies requires larger couplings at lower reheating temperatures, directly linking the relic density to observable rates in rare kaon decay experiments.

  2. Early-Time Nonlinear Growth in an Unstable Q-Ball Hairy Black Hole

    gr-qc 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 7.0

The early growth of the weakly responding scalar component in an unstable Q-ball hairy black hole is dominated by a second-order QNM sourced by the linear unstable mode, even while evolution remains perturbative.

  3. Gauged Q-balls in flat potentials

    hep-ph 2026-04 conditional novelty 6.0

Gauged Q-balls in flat potentials are qualitatively similar to thin-wall versions, with analytic approximations matching numerics and Proca Q-balls interpolating between global and gauged regimes.

  4. Fermion Condensate Inflation, Dynamical Waterfall Mechanism and Primordial Black Holes

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Torsion-induced fermion condensate produces hybrid inflation with axial-chemical-potential waterfall, Q-ball PBH seeds, and parity-violating signatures in Chern-Simons gravity.

  5. Constraining magnetic monopoles and multiply charged particles with diphoton events at the LHC

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0

LHC diphoton data exclude magnetic monopoles and multiply charged particles with masses up to tens of TeV across various spins and charges.

  6. Magnetic Monopoles -- From Dirac to the Large Hadron Collider

    hep-ex 2026-05 unverdicted

Magnetic monopoles are theoretically well-motivated but remain unobserved after extensive searches in cosmic rays and at particle colliders such as the LHC.
