Theories with gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking provide an interesting alternative to the scenario in which the soft terms of the low-energy fields are induced by gravity. These theories allow for a natural suppression of flavour violations in the supersymmetric sector and have very distinctive phenomenological features. Here we review their basic structure, their experimental implications, and the attempts to embed them into models in which all mass scales are dynamically generated from a single fundamental scale.

  1. MSSM flavors from 7-brane configurations of magnetized SYM on $R^{1,3} \times (T^2)^3/(Z_2 \times Z'_2)$

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Magnetized SYM on (T^2)^3/(Z_2 x Z'_2) with 7-branes, fluxes, and Wilson lines produces MSSM chiral fields and semi-realistic hierarchical Yukawas for quarks and leptons.

  2. Non-Holomorphic Impact on $t-b-\tau$ Yukawa Unification in minimal GMSB

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Non-holomorphic terms enable t-b-τ Yukawa unification in minimal GMSB for μ>0, producing solutions with Higgs-mass consistency, charginos as light as 120 GeV, and staus around 600 GeV that are testable via lifetime an...
