A class of models is considered in which the masses only of the third generation of quarks and leptons arise in the tree approximation, while masses for the second and first generations are produced respectively by one-loop and two-loop radiative corrections. So far, for various reasons, these models are not realistic.

  1. Classification of minimal models producing b, c and tau masses at one-loop level

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

A systematic catalogue of 25 minimal radiative mass models for b, c, and τ, including eight 'hybrid' models whose Yukawa couplings can lie above, below, or exactly at the Standard Model prediction.

  2. Higgs Yukawa coupling constraints on a benchmark one-loop radiative mass model for the bottom, charm and tau

    hep-ph 2025-11 conditional novelty 5.0

A radiative one-loop mass model for b, c, τ, and ντ remains consistent with current Higgs and EW data, and future Yukawa-precision measurements are projected to tighten, but not close, its viable parameter space.
