We investigate some aspects of quintessence models with a non-minimally coupled scalar field and in particular we show that it can behave as a component of matter with $-3 \lesssim P/\rho \lesssim 0$. We study the properties of gravitational waves in this class of models and discuss their energy spectrum and the cosmic microwave background anisotropies they induce. We also show that gravitational waves are damped by the anisotropic stress of the radiation and that their energy spectrum may help to distinguish between inverse power law potential and supergravity motivated potential. We finish by a discussion on the constraints arising from their density parameter $\Omega_\GW$.

  1. Leptogenesis with sub-electroweak-scale reheating temperature

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

Leptogenesis remains viable for reheating temperatures below sphaleron freeze-out in three perturbative monomial-inflaton scenarios, with blue-tilted primordial GWs as a potential probe.

  2. Leptogenesis with sub-electroweak-scale reheating temperature

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

Leptogenesis can work with reheating temperatures as low as ~1 GeV for steep inflaton potentials (n=4,6), because right-handed neutrino production stops before sphaleron freeze-out, making the final asymmetry independ...

  3. Imprint of domain wall annihilation on induced gravitational waves

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Domain wall annihilation imprints a two-peaked spectrum on induced gravitational waves via an early matter-dominated phase and entropy dilution.

  4. From WIMP to FIMP during reheating: collider vs non-collider probes for p-wave annihilation

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Collider experiments can strongly constrain p-wave-suppressed derivative operators and thereby limit reheating temperature, DM mass, and interaction scale needed to match observed DM abundance during reheating.
