We review the essential features of the Chaplygin gas cosmological models and provide some examples of appearance of the Chaplygin gas equation of state in modern physics. A possible theoretical basis for the Chaplygin gas in cosmology is discussed. The relation with scalar field and tachyon cosmological models is also considered.

  1. The Hawking temperature in the context of dark energy for Kerr-Newman and Kerr-Newman-AdS backgrounds

    gr-qc 2019-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Hawking temperatures for emergent gravity metrics of KN and KNAdS are calculated along θ=0, modified by dark energy from DBI k-essence fields, with metrics satisfying Einstein equations at large r.
