During the workshop "Transversity: New Developments in Nucleon Spin Structure" (ECT*, Trento, Italy, 14-18 June 2004), a series of recommendations was put forward by the participants concerning definitions and notations for describing effects of intrinsic transverse momentum of partons in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering.

Reviewed papers in the Pith corpus that reference this work. Sorted by Pith novelty score.

  1. Quark and gluon tomography of the helium-4 nucleus

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 8.0

Using NLO QCD calculations with twist corrections and evolution, the work delivers the first quark-gluon tomography of helium-4 via hard exclusive processes.

  2. Transverse Charge Distribution as a Probe of Nucleon Transversity

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

A charge-flow measurement built only from track angles and charge signs contains a leading-twist chiral-odd dipole that matches the charge-weighted Collins moment, giving enhanced transversity-sensitive asymmetries.

  3. Coherent deeply virtual Compton scattering on helium-4 beyond leading power

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Computes kinematic twist-3, twist-4 and NLO alpha_s corrections to coherent DVCS on He-4 and extracts the first 3D quark-gluon tomography of the nucleus.

  4. Dihadron azimuthal asymmetry and light-quark dipole moments at the Electron-Ion Collider

    hep-ph 2024-08 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Proposal for a new observable—dihadron azimuthal asymmetry in unpolarized SIDIS at EIC—that isolates linear dependence on light-quark dipole couplings via SM-dipole interference.

  5. Phenomenology of genuine twist-three distributions from a global QCD analysis

    hep-ph 2026-07 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Global QCD analysis extracts genuine twist-three PDFs from g2, d2 and SIDIS asymmetries, confirming their universality and factorization validity.

  6. Coherent deeply virtual Compton scattering on helium-4 beyond leading power

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Higher-twist and NLO corrections to DVCS on He-4 enable the first 3D parton-level tomography of the helium-4 nucleus.

  7. T-odd Wigner Distributions in boost-invariant longitudinal position space and Spin-momentum correlation in proton

    hep-ph 2024-08 unverdicted novelty 5.0

T-odd leading-twist GTMDs in σ-space exhibit -t-dependent oscillations with transverse-longitudinal interference, while Sivers and Boer-Mulders Wigner distributions encode proton spin-transverse momentum correlations.

  8. Collins asymmetries for pion-in-jet production in polarized $\ell p$ collisions at the EIC

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Collins asymmetries for pion-in-jet production at the EIC are calculated in LO and Weizsacker-Williams approximations, showing quark-channel dominance and clearer access to sea-quark transversity.

  9. Collins asymmetries for pion-in-jet production in polarized $\ell p$ collisions at the EIC

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Collins asymmetries for pion-in-jet production in polarized lepton-proton collisions provide clearer access to transversity distributions at the EIC and test the universality of the Collins function.

  10. Introduction to transverse momentum imaging

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted

The notes provide an introduction to transverse momentum dependent distributions and their use in imaging hadrons, complementing lectures at several graduate schools.
