We study the concept of Carrollian spacetime starting from its underlying fiber-bundle structure. The latter admits an Ehresmann connection, which enables a natural separation of time and space, preserved by the subset of Carrollian diffeomorphisms. These allow for the definition of Carrollian tensors and the structure at hand provides the designated tools for describing the geometry of null hypersurfaces embedded in Lorentzian manifolds. Using these tools, we investigate the conformal isometries of general Carrollian spacetimes and their relationship with the BMS group.

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 7.5 of 10

A Carroll-covariant energy-momentum-news complex at future null infinity yields Ward identities that generalise the Bondi loss equations, with an anomalous Carroll boost.

  2. Interacting Galilean and Finite-Energy Carroll Fermions

    hep-th 2026-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A c-dependent similarity transformation generates new Galilean and Carrollian fermion actions, including a Carrollian model with non-removable finite energy and a Galilean model with an accidental fermionic gauge symmetry.

  3. Quantization of Gravity on Null Hypersurfaces

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

An operator-algebraic quantization of the characteristic initial-value problem yields a candidate on-shell algebra for a gravitational subregion bounded by two null hypersurfaces.

  4. Affine connections for Galilean and Carrollian structures: a unified perspective

    gr-qc 2025-06 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

The authors classify general Carrollian affine connections with torsion and non-metricity, show their emergence from Lorentzian limits, and build an ultra-relativistic geometric trinity of gravity theories.

  5. Non-Lorentzian Supergravity and Kinematical Superalgebras

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Supersymmetric extensions of extended kinematical algebras are classified via semigroup expansion, and non-degenerate Chern-Simons supergravity actions are constructed in three dimensions.

  6. Quantum Anomalies of Tensionless Bosonic Strings

    hep-th 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A unified BRST analysis shows the flipped-vacuum anomaly fixes D=26 for the ILST null string, leaves a λ-family of critical dimensions for the hybrid string, and rules out the conformal and Carroll-Weyl strings.

  7. Quantization of Galilean Electrodynamics: a non-trivially trivial theory

    hep-th 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Galilean electrodynamics is fully constrained and has zero local degrees of freedom; the path integral collapses to a single quantum-mechanical zero mode.

  8. Carroll supergravities

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

Electric and magnetic Carrollian limits of N=1, D=4 supergravity are obtained by Hamiltonian contraction, yielding ultralocal electric and gradient-retaining magnetic theories with simplified constraint algebras.

  9. Twisting asymptotically-flat spacetimes

    gr-qc 2025-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Twisting asymptotically-flat spacetimes are brought into a generalized Bondi gauge with finite radial expansion, producing new flux-balance laws, Carroll-boost symmetries, and finite supertranslated Kerr–Taub–NUT metrics.

  10. Multiparticle States for the Flat Hologram

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The paper defines and constructs composite or multiparticle primary operators for Carrollian and celestial CFTs using OPE blocks and momentum-space partial waves, extending the flat-space dictionary beyond single-part...

  11. Quantum flux operators in the fermionic theory and their supersymmetric extension

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The paper derives fermionic quantum flux operators at null infinity, finds an anomalous helicity flux from superrotation commutators, and shows the resulting algebra reduces to super-BMS and R-extended super-Poincaré ...

  12. Field-dependent diffeomorphisms and the transformation of surface charges between gauges

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The Weyl charge in (A)dS3 gravity is kinematical: it can be toggled on or off by a field-dependent diffeomorphism between Bondi-Sachs and Fefferman-Graham gauges.

  13. The extremal Reissner-Nordstr\"om throat from non extremal near horizon expansions

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 5.0 of 10

String Carroll first-order data miss the RN AdS2×S2 throat; second-order (EF) or all-order radial (static) terms restore it under near-extremal scaling.

  14. Foundations of Carrollian Geometry

    hep-th 2025-10 accept novelty 5.0 of 10
