We consider a FRW cosmological model with an exotic fluid known as Chaplygin gas. We show that the resulting evolution of the universe is not in disagreement with the current observation of cosmic acceleration. The model predict an increasing value for the effective cosmological constant.

  1. Alleviating the Hubble Tension with Smooth Sign-Switching Dark Energy: Full CMB Constraints with DESI and PantheonPlus

    astro-ph.CO 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

Smooth ECDM dark energy remains compatible with Planck+ACT+SPT, DESI DR2 and Pantheon+/SH0ES while alleviating the Hubble tension through a controlled late-time density transition.

  2. A solid unification of the dark sector

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0

A generalized Chaplygin-type solid unifies dark matter and dark energy via an early pressureless phase transitioning to a late solid phase that supports acceleration and produces distinct low-redshift perturbation signatures.

  3. Sign-Switching Dark Energy: Smooth Transitions with Recent DESI DR2 Observations

    astro-ph.CO 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0

Sign-switching dark energy with a transition at z_† fits recent DESI DR2, Planck CMB, and Pantheon+ data better than ΛCDM while raising the inferred Hubble constant and easing the Hubble tension.

  4. Observational constraints on 3-forms dark energy

    astro-ph.CO 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0

Fitting a Gaussian-potential 3-form dark-energy model to Planck, DESI, Pantheon+, Cepheid and DES data shifts H0 up by only ~0.4 km/s/Mpc and yields a weak statistical preference over ΛCDM.

  5. Hydrodynamic properties in soliton field theory

    hep-th 2025-10 conditional novelty 6.0

Soliton formation in complex scalar field theory is framed as sound-mode-induced phase separation, and cylindrical Q-strings are shown to suffer a Rayleigh-Plateau membrane instability that breaks them into spheres.

  6. Background-level reconstruction of scalar-field potentials from dark-energy histories and comparison with analytic potential families

    astro-ph.CO 2026-03 conditional novelty 5.5

A background reconstruction maps prescribed ρ_de(z) histories to V(φ) and ranks analytic potentials by Bayesian evidence, with exponential preferred for CPL and shifted-tanh for sign-switching targets.

  7. Geodesic completion of big bangs from emergent geometry

    gr-qc 2026-02 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Phantom Chaplygin gas forces the Einstein-frame lapse to change sign smoothly while the causal-frame lapse stays positive, yielding a robust non-singular bounce even with extra matter.

  8. Cosmological and lunar laser ranging constraints on evolving dark energy in a nonminimally coupled curvature-matter gravity model

    gr-qc 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Nonminimal curvature-matter coupling produces dynamical dark energy consistent with DESI observations and lunar laser ranging equivalence principle constraints.

  9. Resolving the Planck-DESI tension by nonminimally coupled quintessence

    astro-ph.CO 2025-08 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Non-minimally coupled quintessence resolves the Planck-DESI Ω_m tension at >3σ while the effective equation of state stays above w=-1 and other tensions on neutrino mass and growth rate are relieved.

  10. Neutrino mass constraints in the Schwarzschild-de Sitter black-hole dark energy model with ACT DR6 and DESI DR2 data

    astro-ph.CO 2026-07 conditional novelty 4.5

SdSDE dark energy yields a ~0.16–0.21 eV positive neutrino-mass preference with DESI+ACT data, but χ² strongly favors extended ΛCDM and the shift is likely compensation.

  11. Three-form dark energy: constraints and multi-probe comparison with $\Lambda$CDM

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Three-form dark energy with Gaussian potential is fitted to multi-probe cosmological data and shows mild statistical preference over ΛCDM only in heavily tensioned dataset combinations.

  12. Three-form dark energy: constraints and multi-probe comparison with $\Lambda$CDM

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 conditional novelty 4.0

A Gaussian three-form dark-energy model is viable and mildly preferred over ΛCDM only for the tensioned CMB+BAO+Pantheon+SH0ES combination, with a phantom dip at intermediate redshifts.

  13. Dissipative Cosmology and the Nature of Dark Energy: Insights from Bulk Viscosity with DESI DR2 observations

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 3.0

Bulk viscous fluid models for dark energy yield improved fits to supernova, BAO, and CMB data over LambdaCDM, especially in the interacting non-minimal case.

  14. Observational tests of \texorpdfstring{$\Lambda(t)$}{Lambda(t)} cosmology in light of DESI DR2

    physics.gen-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 2.0

MCMC constraints on two Lambda(t) models with DESI DR2, CC, and Pantheon+ data yield H0 ~72.5-73 km/s/Mpc, Omega_m0 near standard values in joint fits, and n~0.3 indicating mild deviation from LambdaCDM.
