Can the Hubble tension be resolved by bulk viscosity?
read the original abstract
We show that the cosmic bulk viscosity estimated in our previous works is sufficient to bridge the $H_0$ value inferred from observations of the early universe with the value inferred from the local (late) universe.

Hubble tension: a short review of theoretical explanations
A comprehensive review finds no theoretical Hubble-tension solution yet passes all consistency tests; new early-dark-energy chains reach high H0 only when the SH0ES calibration is added.

Primordial black hole formation in bulk-viscous cosmology
Bulk viscosity raises the critical collapse threshold for primordial black holes by an amount comparable to the viscosity strength and increases the resulting black hole masses.

Dissipative Unimodular Gravity: Linking Energy Diffusion to Bulk Viscosity as an Alternative to $\Lambda$CDM under DESI DR2 Data
A viscous version of unimodular gravity fits late-time cosmological data as well as ΛCDM, but the fitted viscosity is consistent with zero and the claimed energy nonconservation is not statistically significant.

Dissipative Cosmology and the Nature of Dark Energy: Insights from Bulk Viscosity with DESI DR2 observations
Bulk viscous fluid models for dark energy yield improved fits to supernova, BAO, and CMB data over LambdaCDM, especially in the interacting non-minimal case.
