abstract
We construct static and spherically symmetric black hole solutions in the Einstein-Euler-Heisenberg (EEH) system which is considered as an effective action of a superstring theory. We considered electrically charged, magnetically charged and dyon solutions. We can solve analytically for the magnetically charged case. We find that they have some remarkable properties about causality and black hole thermodynamics depending on the coupling constant of the EH theory $a$ and $b$, though they have central singularity as in the Schwarzschild black hole.

Living on the Edge of Effective Field Theory: Near-Extremal Black Holes in Quadratic Gravity
Near-extremal black holes in dynamical Chern-Simons gravity have a regular extremal endpoint matching the deformed near-horizon Kerr throat, while in scalar Gauss-Bonnet gravity the extremal throat is disconnected fro...

Polar perturbations of dilaton-Euler-Heisenberg black holes
Every computed fundamental quasinormal frequency for polar metric-dilaton perturbations of dilaton-Euler-Heisenberg black holes has a negative imaginary part, meaning the modes are damped, with ε=+1 and ε=−1 differing...

Shadow and geometric scattering analysis of a new black hole with magnetic charge
The paper derives a magnetically charged black hole metric with a tiny q^6/r^10 correction and claims EHT constraints on the charge, but its naked-singularity branches still have horizons.
