We establish a new self-consistent system of equations for the gravitational and electromagnetic fields. The procedure is based on a non-minimal non-linear extension of the standard Einstein-Hilbert-Maxwell action. General properties of a three-parameter family of non-minimal linear models are discussed. In addition, we show explicitly, that a static spherically symmetric charged object can be described by a non-minimal model, second order in the derivatives of the metric, when the susceptibility tensor is proportional to the double-dual Riemann tensor

  1. Topological Classification of a 4D AdS Black Hole with Non-Minimal Maxwell Coupling

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Non-minimal Maxwell coupling stabilizes the W=0 Hawking-Page topological class for charged 4D AdS black holes, unlike standard RN-AdS, with W switching from 1 to 0 as Q decreases.

  2. Hydrodynamics of Nonminimal $F^{(a)\alpha \beta } F^{(a)\gamma \lambda } R_{\alpha \gamma } R_{\beta \lambda }$ AdS Black Brane

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

    Perturbative holographic calculation yields σ = 1 − q₂(9κQ²/(L² r_h⁴) + 7κ²Q⁴/(4 r_h⁸)) and η/s = (1/(4π))(1 + q₂ 7κ²Q⁴/(2 r_h⁸)) for a nonminimal AdS black brane.

  3. Thermodynamic Behavior of a 4D Nonminimal Maxwell-AdS Black Hole

    hep-th 2024-12 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Derives perturbative 4D nonminimal Maxwell-AdS black hole and reports Van der Waals-like behavior plus Hawking-Page transitions in its thermodynamics.

  4. Influence of the Vacuum Polarization Effect on the Motion of Charged Particles in the Magnetic Field around a Schwarzschild Black Hole

    gr-qc 2019-08 reject novelty 5.0 of 10

If vacuum polarization non-minimally couples magnetic fields to gravity, charged particle trajectories around Schwarzschild black holes can shift from unbound to bound, especially near the horizon.
