This white paper summarizes recent progress in the cosmological bootstrap, an approach to the study of the statistics of primordial fluctuations from consistency with unitarity, locality and symmetry assumptions. We review the key ideas of the bootstrap method, with an eye towards future directions and ambitions of the program. Focusing on recent progress involving de Sitter and quasi-de Sitter backgrounds, we highlight the role of singularities and unitarity in constraining the form of the correlators. We also discuss nonperturbative formulations of the bootstrap, connections to anti-de Sitter space, and potential implications for holography.

Dissecting the Scalar Cosmological Collider with the Cosmic Microwave Background
A joint Bayesian fit of the multi-field inflationary Lagrangian to Planck bispectrum data finds no cosmological collider signal (max Δχ²=5.3) and shows weak-mixing template searches are invalid except at the smallest masses.

4d CFT Correlators from Ambitwistors
Conserved spinning two- and three-point correlators in 4d CFTs are obtained from holomorphic contour integrals on ambitwistor space, with spin, parity, and even a conformally coupled scalar treated uniformly.

Propagator positivity bounds for cosmological correlators
An infinite tower of two-sided positivity bounds constrains the EFT coefficients of heavy fields on de Sitter, ruling out correlators with no unitary/causal UV completion.

Norm of the no-boundary state
At one loop and late time, the norm of the Hartle-Hawking no-boundary state vanishes as e^{S0}/(vol(SO(d,1)) S0^{d(d+1)/4}), and adding an observer stabilizes it to a large positive value.

Cosmological correlators in gravitationally-constrained de Sitter states
Cosmological correlators in gravitationally constrained de Sitter states are conformally invariant and differ from QFT vacuum correlators, but relational observables with a heavy background state can reproduce QFT results.
