We consider four dimensional quantum field theories which have a continuous manifold of inequivalent exact ground states -- a moduli space of vacua. Classically, the singular points on the moduli space are associated with extra massless particles. Quantum mechanically these singularities can be smoothed out. Alternatively, new massless states appear there. These may be the elementary massless particles or new massless bound states.

  1. Generalized Families of QFTs

    hep-th 2026-02 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Generalized family anomalies for broken higher-group and non-invertible symmetries constrain RG flows and IR phases of QFT families, with explicit application to deformed 4d QCD.

  2. Dynamical Generation of the VY Superpotential in $N=1$ SYM: A Higher-Form Perspective

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Higher-form gauge dynamics associated with domain walls produce the VY superpotential semiclassically via Z_N sectors and point-like configurations in N=1 SYM.

  3. A Closer Look at Constrained Instantons

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Constrained instantons satisfy all boundary conditions consistently in massive φ⁴ and broken Yang-Mills theories when asymptotic behaviors are tracked properly, resolving a prior claimed inconsistency.

  4. Krylov Complexity, Confinement and Universality

    hep-th 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0

Holographic calculations show the proper-momentum proxy for Krylov complexity oscillates in every confining geometry with a smooth infrared cap, with frequency set by the confinement scale.

  5. Generalized Families of QFTs

    hep-th 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0

Broken higher-group and non-invertible symmetries still act on the space of couplings, and their 'family anomalies' force the infrared theory to be gapless, spontaneously broken, or interrupted by a phase transition.

  6. Loop Corrected Supercharges from Holomorphic Anomalies

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0

The complete one-loop supercharge for 4d Lagrangian SUSY gauge theories is derived in the holomorphic twist, packaged for N=4 SYM as a compact superfield formula.

  7. Three-Loop Gauge Beta Functions in Supersymmetric Theories with Exponential Higher Covariant Derivative Regularization

    hep-th 2025-09 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Explicit closed-form evaluation of A(n) and B(m) for exponential regulators R(x)=e^{x^n} and F(x)=e^{x^m} yields fully parameterized three-loop beta functions in general N=1 SUSY gauge theories and demonstrates finite...
