abstract

We construct a solution of the classical equations of motion arising in the low energy effective field theory for heterotic string theory. This solution describes a black hole in four dimensions carrying mass $M$, charge $Q$ and angular momentum $J$. The extremal limit of the solution is discussed.

  1. Symmetries of non-maximal supergravities with higher-derivative corrections

    hep-th 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

  2. Universality of the Blandford-Znajek emission in stationary and axisymmetric spacetimes

    gr-qc 2026-02 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

The Blandford-Znajek jet luminosity is universal (∝Ω_h²) at leading order across parametric black-hole spacetimes and spacetime-dependent at next order, breaking the low-spin degeneracy for rapidly rotating holes.

  3. Novel thermodynamic inequality for rotating AdS black holes

    gr-qc 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

A new thermodynamic inequality 4πJ²/(3MV) < 1 is derived for rotating AdS black holes to prevent naked singularities and uphold cosmic censorship.

  4. Black Hole Entropy Bounded by the Specific Heat

    gr-qc 2025-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A conjectured inequality bounding black hole entropy by its specific heat is proven for a special static class and verified for many rotating and charged black holes.

  5. Heterotic Footprints in Classical Gravity: PM dynamics from On-Shell soft amplitudes at one loop

    hep-th 2025-10 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

In a Kerr-Sen-like spacetime from Bumblebee gravity, increasing the Lorentz symmetry breaking rate and Bumblebee charge enlarges the allowed region for energy extraction via magnetic reconnection and moves it closer t...

  7. Extremal Kerr-Schild Form

    gr-qc 2024-11 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A non-extremal black hole can be written exactly as its extremal limit plus a linear-in-mass term built from a single null vector, for a wide class of known solutions.

  8. Nonlinear Stability of Kerr-Sen Black Holes in Merging Binaries

    gr-qc 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Head-on binary black hole simulations in EMDA theory show dilaton and axion fields persist through merger, indicating nonlinear stability of Kerr-Sen black holes and scalarization of initially unscalarized solutions.

  9. Late-Time Cosmology and Structure Formation in Quadratic $f(Q)$ Gravity

    physics.gen-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Quadratic f(Q) gravity adds an H^4 term to the Friedmann equation and introduces a time-dependent G_eff that suppresses linear growth and halo abundance, offering a modified-gravity route to easing the S8 tension.
