  1. Brane flows

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Generalizes Ricci flow to brane flows with n-forms, proves monotonicity for fixed field-dependent volume flows and that steady solitons are gradient solitons, including a new functional for Chern-Simons cases.

  2. Monodromy Defects in Maximally Supersymmetric Yang-Mills Theories from Holography

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Codimension-2 monodromy defects in p=2,3,4 maximal SYM are realized by re-interpreting spindle solutions, and their defect entanglement entropy is shown to be proportional to the ambient free energy.

  3. (Iso)spin from Isospin in Top-Down Holography

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Supergravity backgrounds with monopoles on S2 exhibit diagonal symmetry upon uplift, causing SU(2)-SO(3) angular momentum mixing in fluctuations analogous to the Jackiw-Rebbi-Hasenfratz-'t Hooft effect.

  4. Non-conformal branes wrapped on a disk

    hep-th 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Disk solutions from non-conformal Dp/NS5-brane spindles are classified by charge sectors; compact disks mostly show monopoles and smeared branes, while non-compact disks mostly do not.

  5. The IKKT renormalization group flow is IIB: toward zero-d holography

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

IKKT RG flow via Coulomb branch integration and BZJ flow reproduces the N-dependence of the axio-dilaton in IIB supergravity for D-instantons.

  6. Supersymmetric quantum mechanics from wrapped D4-branes

    hep-th 2026-02 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

New families of t×M4-sliced domain-wall solutions in six-dimensional maximal gauged supergravity are built, uplifted to type IIA, and filtered by the Maldacena-Nuñez criterion to identify candidate holographic duals o...

  7. Krylov Complexity and $c$-function along RG Flows

    hep-th 2026-08 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Along holographic RG flows, the acceleration of spread complexity and the covariant c-function are algebraically related: inversely in fixed-dimension domain walls and Dp-branes, co-monotonically in twisted compactifications.

  8. Holographic entanglement entropy and complexity for the cosmological braneworld model

    hep-th 2025-05 unverdicted novelty 3.0 of 10

Time-dependent holographic entanglement entropy and complexity are computed perturbatively for braneworld FLRW universes with radiation, matter, and exotic matter by using time-dependent brane positions in black brane...

  9. Lecture notes on strings in AdS$_3$ from the worldsheet and the AdS$_3$/CFT$_2$ duality

    hep-th 2026-01 unverdicted novelty 2.0 of 10

Lecture notes deliver a self-contained pedagogical overview of worldsheet strings in AdS3 with NSNS flux, summarizing 25 years of results with emphasis on spectrally flowed correlation functions.
