We derive an evolution equation describing the high energy behavior of the cross section for the single diffractive dissociation in deep inelastic scattering on a hadron or a nucleus. The evolution equation resums multiple BFKL pomeron exchanges contributing to the cross section of the events with large rapidity gaps. Analyzing the properties of an approximate solution of the proposed equation we point out that at very high energies there is a possibility that for a fixed center of mass energy the cross section will reach a local maximum at a certain intermediate size of the rapidity gap, or, equivalently, at some non-zero value of the invariant mass of the produced particles.

  1. Unpolarized GPDs at small $x$ and non-zero skewness

    hep-ph 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Unpolarized GPDs and GTMDs at small x with non-zero skewness are expressed via the dipole amplitude N and odderon O with modified rapidity Y = ln min{1/|x|, 1/|ξ|}.

  2. Diffractive deep inelastic scattering in the dipole picture: the $q\bar{q}g$ contribution in exact kinematics

    hep-ph 2025-10 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Exact q qbar g contribution to diffractive DIS structure functions in the dipole model shows prior high-Q2 and high-MX2 approximations are inadequate and that soft quark terms are comparably important at high Q2.

  3. Multiplicity distributions in DIS for heavy nucleus

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Homotopy solutions to BFKL Pomeron evolution equations in nuclear DIS produce multiplicity distributions of produced gluons.

  4. On the Two $R$-Factors in the Small-$x$ Shockwave Formalism

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Replacing the rapidity argument of the dipole amplitude with ln min{1/|x|, 1/|ξ|} and refining initial conditions for non-linear evolution can eliminate two R-factors in small-x shockwave calculations.

  5. Dipole-dipole scattering: summing large Pomeron loops in non-linear evolution with leading twist kernel

    hep-ph 2025-12 conditional novelty 5.0

In a leading-twist kernel, matching the BK solution to fan-diagram series yields KNO multiplicity distributions and gluon entropy S_E = ln(xG) for dipole-nucleus and dipole-dipole scattering.
