A Mini-Introduction To Information Theory
read the original abstract
This article consists of a very short introduction to classical and quantum information theory. Basic properties of the classical Shannon entropy and the quantum von Neumann entropy are described, along with related concepts such as classical and quantum relative entropy, conditional entropy, and mutual information. A few more detailed topics are considered in the quantum case.

Gibbons-Hawking Entropy and BMN Strings
A proposed universal finite entropy bound for quantum gravity is introduced and linked to the Gibbons-Hawking entropy of our universe, with BMN strings suggested as an unresolved test.

Positivity bounds from thermal field theory entropy
Thermodynamic consistency in thermal scalar EFTs requires the Wilson coefficient of the leading dimension-8 operator to be strictly positive.

Real-Time Quantum Dynamics on the Fuzzy Sphere: Chaos and Entanglement
In this fuzzy-sphere matrix model the largest Lyapunov exponent drops to zero at finite temperature, respecting the Maldacena-Shenker-Stanford bound while entanglement shows fast scrambling.

Entanglement inequalities for timelike intervals within dynamical holography
Timelike mutual information is positive and weak monotonicity holds for non-overlapping timelike subregions in AdS3-Vaidya holography, but the timelike strong subadditivity is violated for overlapping intervals while ...

Entanglement Entropy and Thermodynamics of Dynamical Black Holes
In f(R) theories, the replica-method gravitational entropy computed on the apparent horizon matches the Hollands-Wald-Zhang dynamical black hole entropy and satisfies the first law, while the event horizon does not; t...

Digit anomalies in the hadronic mass spectrum, classical and quantum information entropies, and the dynamical QCD scale
The first digits of PDG hadron masses deviate strongly from Benford's law, and the paper reads the resulting Shannon-entropy deficit as a signature of Lambda_QCD.
