We propose a modification of special relativity in which a physical energy, which may be the Planck energy, joins the speed of light as an invariant, in spite of a complete relativity of inertial frames and agreement with Einstein's theory at low energies. This is accomplished by a non-linear modification of the action of the Lorentz group on momentum space, generated by adding a dilatation to each boost in such a way that the Planck energy remains invariant. The associated algebra has unmodified structure constants, and we highlight the similarities between the group action found and a transformation previously proposed by Fock. We also discuss the resulting modifications of field theory and suggest a modification of the equivalence principle which determines how the new theory is embedded in general relativity.

  1. Prism Effect in Quantum Gravity

    gr-qc 2026-07 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Extended Born-Oppenheimer coupling of the EM field to quantum geometry yields chromatic dispersion of light—a prism effect proposed as an all-energy quantum-gravity probe on a quantum FLRW background.

  2. Coherent states in minimal-length Quantum Mechanics: inequivalent characterizations and emergent squeezing

    quant-ph 2026-07 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Minimal length via GUP makes the usual coherent state characterizations inequivalent for the harmonic oscillator, deforming phase-space trajectories and inducing intrinsic squeezing absent in standard quantum mechanics.

  3. A Cosmological Uncertainty Relation and Late-Universe Acceleration

    astro-ph.CO 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Deformed commutation relation for the cosmic scale factor modifies the Friedmann equation to produce late-time dark energy with w > -1 or a non-singular bounce as a horizon-scale quantum gravity effect, without new pa...

  4. Geometric structure of the relativistic quantum phase space

    quant-ph 2026-03 reject novelty 6.0 of 10

A geometric equation for relativistic quantum phase space is proposed, but its central constant is fixed by hand to reproduce de Sitter spacetime and curved momentum space in the two limits.

  5. Fermi Acceleration Mechanisms Beyond Lorentz Symmetry

    gr-qc 2026-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Fermi-accelerated cosmic-ray spectra acquire energy-dependent spectral indices under κ-Poincaré-deformed or Lorentz-violating kinematics, with a -2 to -3 index transition in the classical basis.

  6. Lorentz Violation in Emergent Gravity and Its Cosmological Consequences

    gr-qc 2025-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Emergent gravity is recast as an Otto cycle; adding work legs yields Lorentz violation and matter creation that can drive late-time cosmic acceleration.

  7. New analysis of SNeIa Pantheon Catalog: Variable speed of light as an alternative to dark energy

    astro-ph.CO 2024-12 reject novelty 6.0 of 10

A variable-speed-of-light model with a modified Lemaître redshift formula fits the Pantheon supernova catalog with H0 ≈ 47 and no dark energy.

  8. Notes on gravitational wave amplitude evolution beyond null geodesics

    gr-qc 2026-07 reject novelty 5.0 of 10

A wavevector-divergence formula is derived for GW amplitude transport beyond null geodesics, giving no distortion for constant subluminal group velocity and a frequency-domain-invariant amplitude shift for massive gravitons.

  9. Modified electron dispersion relations in degenerate white dwarfs

    astro-ph.SR 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A negative logarithmic deformation of the electron dispersion relation stiffens white-dwarf matter and allows maximum masses from about 1.45 to 1.61 solar masses under standard TOV gravity.

  10. A winding number analysis of Schwarzschild black hole stability in light of Planck-scale modified kinematics

    gr-qc 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

For the cubic entropy correction S=πr_h²−αr_h³ arising from a Planck-scale modified dispersion relation, all physically allowed Schwarzschild-like branches have winding number w=−1, so no stable phase appears.

    gr-qc 2025-09 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Applies parameterized dispersion to eccentric BBH burst waveforms, deriving a 2.5PN time-delay correction and Bessel amplitude modulation, then uses Fisher matrix to project LIGO constraints that are stronger than cur...

The paper derives a nonlocal phase-space uncertainty relation implying a minimal measurable length of order L_M and a finite phase-space cell in nonlocal QFT.

  13. Strong gravitational lensing by black hole in F(R) Euler Heisenberg Gravity's Rainbow

    astro-ph.GA 2025-07 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Applying the strong deflection limit to the F(R)-Euler-Heisenberg-Rainbow black hole gives lensing observables that increase with the Euler-Heisenberg parameter and decrease with charge.

  14. Quasinormal Modes and Dynamical Evolution of Scalar Fields in the Einstein-Bumblebee Theory with a Cosmological Constant

    gr-qc 2025-02 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

For scalar perturbations of Einstein-Bumblebee black holes in de Sitter spacetime, increasing the Lorentz-violation parameter or the cosmological constant generally lowers the quasinormal mode frequency and damping rate.

  15. Revisiting Varying Speed of Light in Cosmology: Insights from the Friedmann-Lema\^itre-Robertson-Walker Metric

    physics.gen-ph 2025-05 reject novelty 2.0 of 10

A varying speed of light in FLRW is presented as gauge freedom via the lapse function, but the key variational derivation omits the √-g measure and the claimed Hubble-tension resolution contradicts Eq. (30).
