We develop the idea that, in quantum gravity where the horizon fluctuates, a black hole should have a discrete mass spectrum with concomitant line emission. Simple arguments fix the spacing of the lines, which should be broad but unblended. Assuming uniformity of the matrix elements for quantum transitions between near levels, we work out the probabilities for the emission of a specified series of quanta and the intensities of the spectral lines. The thermal character of the radiation is entirely due to the degeneracy of the levels, the same degeneracy that becomes manifest as black hole entropy. One prediction is that there should be no lines with wavelength of order the black hole size or larger. This makes it possible to test quantum gravity with black holes well above Planck scale.

Emergent Hawking Radiation and Quantum Sensing in a Quenched Chiral Spin Chain
A quenched chiral spin chain produces analog Hawking radiation with non-Planckian spectrum but Poissonian statistics, detectable by a weakly coupled qubit sensor that reveals the horizon-induced temperature.

Gravitational Bound State Perturbations Inside Black Holes and Isospectrality
Polar perturbations inside Schwarzschild have ℓ−1 bound states; ℓ−2 of them are exactly isospectral to axial bound states, and the extra ground state is the algebraically special mode, yielding ΔA = 16π l_Pl².

Dark bubbles, dark dimensions and fat gravitons
The dark bubble model realizes the dark dimension and fat graviton proposals by predicting a micron-sized extra dimension, gravity weakening at that scale, a tens-of-TeV string scale, and measurable positive spatial c...

Classical Corrections to Black Hole Entropy II
Modeling black hole absorption as discrete recursion yields area-law entropy with logarithmic corrections whose coefficients depend on spacetime dimension and charge for Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordström cases.

A note on entropy of matter in presence of gravity: status of extensivity of entropy
In a strong uniform Newtonian gravitational field, the entropy of a monoatomic ideal gas depends on the container's cross-sectional area and is extensive when particle number per unit area is fixed.
