  1. Holographic duality from a four-fermion interaction: emergent AdS$_3$/CFT$_2$, D-branes, and Einstein gravity

    hep-th 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 7.0

The bosonic AdS3/CFT2 duality emerges from the Gross-Neveu model via higher-spin composites and fluctuations in competing spin-0 and spin-1 condensates that define the radial bulk coordinate.

  2. Entanglement islands, fuzzballs and stretched horizons

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Fuzzball models with stretched horizons modify or eliminate entanglement islands depending on boundary conditions and cap geometry, producing information paradox analogues in some cases.

  3. Rindler Physics with a UV Cutoff on the Lattice

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Lattice regularization of Rindler QFT shows the Unruh effect survives operationally for distant observables even though exact thermality is lost at the state level, with wave packets reflected at a stretched horizon o...

  4. Kerr Black Hole Ringdown in Effective Field Theory

    gr-qc 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Effective field theory yields model-independent corrections to Kerr black hole quasinormal modes that oscillate logarithmically near extremality, indicating discrete scale invariance.

  5. Energy conditions in static, spherically symmetric spacetimes and effective geometries

    gr-qc 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

A logarithmic correction to Schwarzschild in static spherical symmetry obeys all classical energy conditions and serves as an effective exterior for horizon-bearing and horizonless compact objects.

  6. Probing Kerr Symmetry Breaking with LISA Extreme-Mass-Ratio Inspirals

    gr-qc 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

LISA EMRIs can constrain deviations from Kerr equatorial symmetry to 10^{-2} and axial symmetry to 10^{-3} using Analytic Kludge waveforms and Fisher analysis.

  7. Are Black Holes Fuzzballs? Probing Horizon-Scale Structure with LISA

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

LISA can constrain non-axisymmetric mass quadrupole deformations at the 10^{-3} level and axisymmetric mass octupole deformations at the 10^{-2} level in EMRI signals to test fuzzball proposals.

  8. Holography, Brick Wall and a Little Hierarchy Problem

    hep-th 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 5.0

A boundary-anchored brick wall definition in holography matches 't Hooft thermodynamics for BTZ but shows a slightly subleading area-law coefficient in the exact partition function unless the cutoff is trans-Planckian...

  9. Testing the nature of dark compact objects: a status report

    gr-qc 2019-04 accept novelty 2.0

Current and future observations can test whether dark compact objects are Kerr black holes or exotic alternatives, with null results strengthening the black hole paradigm.
